Strawberry crepes with ice cream

We all know Sunday brunch is incomplete without a dessert.Today I am going to share my favorite yummy strawberry crepes recipe. Try it out for brunch and I promise your whole family will love it.


Strawberry filling

2 cups frozen strawberries thawed

2 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon honey

3 cups fresh strawberries

Food color (optional)

Crepe batter

1 1/2 cups wheat flour

2 eggs

2 cups milk

2 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 tablespoon salt

Some diced fruits and ice cream of your choice

Preparation method:

Strawberry filling

1.Gently puree the thawed strawberries. You can use your smoothie blender to do this.

2. Add sugar,honey,diced strawberries and food color, mix them well and keep it aside.


1.Take a large bowl. Add wheat flour to it.Now beat the eggs .Add milk,butter,vanilla essence , sugar and salt. Beat till smooth. You can refrigerate it for an hour for better results.

2.Now take a nonstick dosa pan. Grease it with half a teaspoon of butter.Put the batter at the center and tilt the pan till the pan gets evenly coated.

3.Cook for 15 to 20 seconds and flip it to cook (just like you do for dosas). Now repeat the process. You will make approximately 14 crepes. Let them cool down.

Now apply the filling on the crepes. Roll them up. You can top them with your favorite fruits and eat it with your favorite ice cream.
